Kades & Cheifetz is led by a team of financial services professionals who bring complementary skills in investment, financial planning and tax strategies to each engagement. Partners Howard Kades and Steve Cheifetz offer combined experience of more than 50 years, and take pride in their long-term client relationships, helping individuals and families grow and manage wealth to achieve their financial objectives.

Partners – Howard A. Kades, MBA and Stephen N. Cheifetz, CPA, CFP®
Howard A. Kades, MBA Howard A. Kades, MBA, joined Kades Financial, Inc. (KFI) in 1992, after working in corporate finance at General Electric. In 2013 he succeeded his father, Larry, as President of KFI, and in 2014 Howard welcomed Steve Cheifetz as the firm's Vice President. Recognizing their shared, client-focused philosophy and service commitment, in 2016 Howard and Steve evolved KFI to become partners in Kades & Cheifetz LLC. Their partnership furthers the KFI mission, as they strive to provide the highest quality investment advisory services.

Howard received his bachelor's degree in Management with a Finance concentration from Tulane University in 1987, followed by a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in 1991. He presently serves on the Investment Committee of the Visiting Nurses Association-Community Services of Montgomery County, where he previously served as President of the Board of Directors. Howard resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their three children.
Stephen N. Cheifetz, CPA, CFP® Stephen N. Cheifetz, CPA, CFP®, has provided tax and financial planning and portfolio management to individuals for more than two decades. He launched his career in public accounting and corporate finance, and later gained significant experience in investment services as a Shareholder of a regional financial advisory firm.

Steve earned his Certified Public Accountant credential after receiving a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Temple University's Fox School of Business in 2001. Steve later completed the rigorous continuing education required to earn the Certified Financial Planner designation, which he maintains by adhering to the highest professional standards. Steve lives with his wife and their three children in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
