Kades & Cheifetz is led by a team of financial services professionals who bring complementary skills in investment, financial planning and tax strategies to each engagement. Partners Howard Kades and Steve Cheifetz offer combined experience of more than 50 years, and take pride in their long-term client relationships, helping individuals and families grow and manage wealth to achieve their financial objectives.

Howard joined Kades Financial, Inc. (KFI) in 1992, after working in corporate finance at General Electric. In 2013 he succeeded his father, Larry, as President of KFI, and in 2014 Howard welcomed Steve Cheifetz as the firm's Vice President. Recognizing their shared, client-focused philosophy and service commitment, in 2016 Howard and Steve evolved KFI to become partners in Kades & Cheifetz LLC. Their partnership furthers the KFI mission, as they strive to provide the highest quality investment advisory services.
Howard received his bachelor's degree in Management with a Finance concentration from Tulane University in 1987, followed by a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in 1991. He presently serves on the Investment Committee of the Visiting Nurses Association-Community Services of Montgomery County, where he previously served as President of the Board of Directors. Howard resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their three children.

Steve has provided tax and financial planning and portfolio management to individuals for more than two decades. He launched his career in public accounting and corporate finance, and later gained significant experience in investment services as a Shareholder of a regional financial advisory firm.
Steve earned his Certified Public Accountant credential after receiving a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Temple University's Fox School of Business in 2001. Steve and his wife split their time between Florida and the Jersey Shore.
Veronica M. Barattucci, Director of Client Services
Veronica joined Kades & Cheifetz LLC in January of 2022. In her role as Director of Client Services, she helps the firm’s partners fulfill their goal of providing clients with the highest quality investment advisory services. She enjoys building client relationships and delivering personal service customized to clients’ individual needs.
Prior to joining the K&C team, Veronica worked for nearly 15 years as a key member of the Financial Support team at a regional financial advisory firm. In this capacity, she assisted the firm’s President and financial consultants, and was responsible for the administrative management of select investment vehicles. In her role as Director of Client Services, she also assisted with managing the firm’s administrative operations and procedures.
Additionally, Veronica’s financial services experience includes nearly 10 years at a firm specializing in educational financial planning. As Vice President of Client Services, she managed the support team as they helped families with planning for their secondary education needs.
Veronica received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Services, with a minor in Accounting, from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
She resides in Plymouth Meeting, PA, with her husband and their two daughters.
